ILLordle is The Daily Illini's daily word game, similar to Wordle. Each word is themed around content published on the Daily Illini website.

I was given the opportunity to create the logo for ILLordle, along with branding, promotional social media posts, and flyers.

BEST OF CU 2024

PROJECT BRIEF

Every year, The Daily Illini comes out with an edition called “Best of CU”. The purpose of this annual edition is to honor the people, places, and things within Champaign Urbana that make our community rich and vibrant. The best places showcased within the edition are based on student votes.

I was given the opportunity to create the branding guidelines for this year’s annual “Best of CU” edition. This includes the development of social media posts, stories, and printed flyers; all calling for students to vote. As well as the layout design showcasing the results of the voting. The outcome of the branding was so striking and popular that for this year’s Best of CU edition, the managing editor decided to make it into its own separate magazine.
